Saga | Magazine

Concept

This issue of Saga highlights eastern european folklore, and its influence in storytelling history. The articles inside focus on the people, artifacts, celebrations, and ways that kept their culture’s stories alive. Inspired by ancient books, Saga uses various paper textures and colors to give readers an old world feel. Photographs and imagery used are intended to help visualize the content of articles in a way similar to a story book. The hope was to produce a magazine that could bridge the gap between cultures by celebrating our differences, and understanding our similarities.
