Owned by queen bee Lillian Owens, Steel Stingers Tattoos aims to save bees, and a seat at the head of the tattoo table. Inspired by traditionally masculine tattoo design, their logo uses a thick serif typeface complemented by thin stroked ink illustrations and framework. The main imagery is a bee, influenced by victorian etchings, with a tattoo needle as their stinger. The dark sophisticated design and color palette bring the old world of tattooing into the new age.
